Established in 1995, TWS is situated on 11 acres at the base of Taos Mountain and is adjacent to the Taos Pueblo. TWS is a developing school with AWSNA and is accredited with WECAN. Our current student body is 55 students, which include preschool, kindergarten and most Grade classes. We offer a 4-day a week program, operating Monday through Thursday. With dedicated parents, supportive and collaborative colleagues, and an excellent administrative team, the TWS offers a thriving community. Our bio-dynamic garden and specialty classes provide a robust curriculum for our students.

Taos Waldorf School Seeking Grade One Teacher
Taos Waldorf School is seeking a First Grade Class Teacher to join our faculty for the 2015-2016 school year, beginning August 2015. Ideally, applicants have completed their Waldorf teacher training or have prior teaching experience and interest in beginning Waldorf teacher training. We seek a warm, inspiring and energetic candidate who can carry this class for the eight year journey. The first grade will be comprised of a sweet and imaginative group of approximately 8-10 children; most of the children will come from our early childhood program.
Taos Waldorf School Seeking Grade Two Teacher
Taos Waldorf School is seeking a Second Grade Class Teacher to join our faculty for the 2015-2016 school year, beginning August 2015. Ideally, applicants have completed their Waldorf teacher training or have prior teaching experience and interest in beginning Waldorf teacher training. We seek a warm, inspiring and energetic candidate for a one-year position while our Second Grade teacher is on a leave- of- absence. This position could lead to other long-term possibilities at the school. The second grade class consists of 8 wonderful students.
