Hello from Taos Waldorf School Board of Trustees

Hello, TWS Friends.
Just a friendly reminder that tuition payments are due by the first of each month, which, as it happens, is today.
We really need to get your tuition by the first, because we use your tuition payments to pay the teachers. Since they show up at school on-time every day, we really like to pay them on time every month.
Also, every payment that comes in after the first actually costs the school time and money, since we have to spend extra time attending to each situation, time either spent by a board member, teacher, or paid employee. Needless to say, we don't have a lot of extra time or money, so we really, really appreciate your on-time payments.
I've been asked to remind us all about the official policy about late payments:
Tuition is due by the first of each month. If we haven't received your tuition by the 5th, you'll get a friendly reminder call from a board member, and if you haven't at least made payment arrangements with either Allison or Judith, our bookkeeper, by the 10th of the month, enrollment will be suspended, and we ask that your child not attend school until all payments have been brought up-to-date.

Celebrating Parent Partnership
Creative Approaches for Emergent Times
One of the ways Taos Waldorf School is adapting to changing times is through partnering with parents to meet many needs within our school. From cleaning to team leadership to answering the phone, we are striving to pair the talents, abilities, and interests of our community with the necessary tasks of school functioning. In this way, we are hoping to meet the economic reality of our times headon while creating a foundation of social renewal.

Create for yourself a new, indomitable perception of faithfulness. What is usually called faithfulness passes so quickly. Let this be your faithfulness:
You will experience moments...fleeting moments...with the other person. The human being will appear to you then as if filled, irradiated with the archetype of his spirit.
And then there may be....indeed, will be, other moments, long periods of time, when human beings are darkened. But you will learn to say to yourself at such times: the Spirit makes me strong. I remember the archetype - I saw it once. No illusion, no deception, shall rob me of it.
Always struggle for the image that you saw. This struggle is faithfulness. Striving thus for faithfulness, we shall be close to one another, as if endowed with the protective power of angels."
